Salisbury Beach is home to two arcades located right along the beach where you can enjoy the ocean views while you play.
Joe’s Playland:

Joe’s Playland is a family run beachside arcade that features new and classic games like skee ball, pinball, air hockey, arcade cabinets and more.
The arcade has two floors with most of the newer games downstairs and the classic arcade cabinets and pool tables upstairs. The arcade also offers a party room which you can rent out for birthday parties.
The arcade features a snack bar with ice cream, cotton candy, homemade fudge, homemade caramel corn, candy apples, slushies and saltwater taffy.

Joe’s Playland also has a second location at the beach which is located at 10 Broadway. The second location has coin-operated kiddie rides, skee ball and more modern arcade games.
Joe’s Playland was originally established in 1919 by Joe and Jennie Haballa as a portable popcorn stand named Joe’s.
In 1952, Joe’s moved to its current location on Broadway and opened as an arcade named Joe’s Playland.
After Joe and Jennie passed on, their nephew and his wife, Fred and Julia Abdulla took over the business. The arcade is still owned and operated by the Abdulla family.
Check out the arcade’s online store where you can buy all kinds of merchandise, gift cards, game cards, candy and snacks or stop by their seafood take out restaurant called Lee’s Seafood (closed during the winter) which is located around the corner from the arcade.
Joe’s Playland’s main location at 15 Broadway is open year round but has reduced hours during the winter so check their website for details. Joe’s second location at 10 Broadway is closed during the winter months.
Carefree Arcade:

Carefree Arcade is a beachside arcade that features new and classic games like skee ball and pinball as well as classic arcade games, newer video games and pool tables.
Established in 1970, Carefree Arcade is owned by Amin Nabhan and is located right next to the beach along the boardwalk and features large bay doors that allow a nice ocean breeze into the arcade and a great view of the weekly fireworks during the summer.
The arcade is also located next to many of the beachside bars, such as the Carousel Lounge next door which is owned by the same owner, so you can stop by for a drink after playing some games.
Carefree Arcade is closed during the winter months.
